Before & After Shots

It's been a long time coming and I still have a ways to go yet! Here are my before and after shots. The first was June 2007 (mid-adoption, oh, the food I consumed!) and the second is June 2009. Currently, I have lost 40 lbs and only 25 to go!!
It's taken a whole lot of work. It is so worth it!!

Spring Recital

Analise had her first music recital at her Mothers Day Out program. Of course, she was quite the ham. She jumped up and down throughout both songs. It was SO hilarious!!!

We're Still Here...

Yeah, we are still around. I am working on a post now but wanted to put up a pic to tide you over. Analise is growing so fast. She is absolutely the funniest person ever!!

I Would Never Do That......wink wink

I would never, under any circumstances do the following things.....I mean never! Who would REALLY do these things....seriously

One, I would never under any circumstances allow my child to throw a whale of a fit in the Wal-Mart Pharmacy in hopes of getting my order filled more quickly. After all, it had only been 45 minutes of waiting with a child who has an ear infection...I would never do that.

Two, I would never under any circumstances lock my child in a running vehicle. I would never be so absent minded to mistake my postal keys for car keys and then realize I just locked my car with my keys and cell phone in the car. I would never do that.

Three, I would never under any circumstances change my child's diaper in the back of a Jeep and then proceed to forget about said diaper. Under no circumstances would I wonder what was making my Jeep stink...I would never do that.

Has anyone else ever had a "I would never do that" moment?.....

I was there to actually witness the whole birthing process. Oh My Goodness! It was amazing! Everyone should be able to witness an equine birth. They are up and walking around so fast. It is just amazing!!!

Makes My Heart Sing

For so long I prayed for a little a girl. A little girl with spirit and fire. A little girl to hold, squeeze and love. A little girl to share things with, go places with and teach things to. A little girl with a contagious laugh and dimples. A little girl to say "Momma", "DaDa" and "book". I am so glad that God saw fit to bless me with every single thing I prayed for.

...I am able to post such pictures as these. The day before Christmas Eve us and the sibs had a night of Wii fun. I laughed so hard I cried at the Wii form utilized by the fam. And, since I have the power I am able to post pictures of my BIL, Steve, who absolutely had the best, well funniest, form.

Has it really been that long?

Yeah, it really has been that long! it has been 6 weeks to be exact since I posted! I could give many reasons/excuses for the lack of posting but lets just move forward! I'm all about not dwelling on the past! So here's a bunch of pics to catch up!!
